The Weimar Collection

The Weimar Archive is an important collection of German history, politics and culture from the end of the First World War, leading up to, and including, World War II.

The main emphasis is on Nazi Germany, which includes the rise of Hitler, events leading up to the formation of the Third Reich, fascism and anti-Semitism.

Originally accumulated over a 25 year period, the collection contains many hundreds of striking photographs, both moving and brutal, together with posters and artworks, illustrating one of the most significant periods in social and political history.
