Fantastic maps from Mapseeker now available at Mary Evans Picture Library

Mary Evans Picture Library, the UK's leading source for historical images, is pleased to announce a new representation agreement with Mapseeker, an established specialist in historical maps offering one of the largest selections of maps, plans and surveys spanning the globe.

Several thousand maps will be made available over the next few months from town and county maps of the UK to city and country maps from every corner of the world. In addition, the collection boasts many specialist maps covering specific topics such as railway networks and canals. One of the unique aspects of the collection is the care that has been taken in scanning and renovating the maps so that the images are not only available in extremely high resolution, but are visually stunning and of outstanding quality.

Paul Brown, Managing Director of Mary Evans said "We are delighted to be working with Mapseeker. Added to the great selection of maps we already have online, the images we have received confirms Mary Evans as one of the best sources for maps you will find anywhere; this truly is a fascinating and beautiful collection."

The first images from Mapseeker are now available and can be viewed online at www.maryevans.com.
