Orson Welles as Father Mapple delivering a sermon in the film Moby Dick, at Shepperton Studios. As in the novel by Herman Melville, his pulpit is shaped like the prow of a ship. The movie was shot in 1954, and released in 1956. This single scene cameo appearance helped Welles to fund his stage production of the same story
