April 7 1963 - Young Philip Samuel of Cape Town lost all his school books when his parents'home was destroyed by fire. So his school pals rallied round, organised a concert at the Kew Town Zone B Primary school and raised R14 to help pay for the books. (Photograph by Drum Photographer BAHA)
