August 1959 Are Our woman Richer Than Our Man Madam
August 1959 Are Our woman Richer Than Our Man Madam Ezadi: Shes from Onitsha. Started off with a little cash and a lot of sound business sense: Not many men in Nigeria with a tidier bank balance. Those of them who have no big capital take their goods on credit but on credit after a fashion from Oriental merchants or from other big foreign firms. They are granted credit facilities by these big firms on the basis of quick sales and quick returns. When they cannot sell the goods, they just return them, and loose nothing. And because of this cautions arrangement, they invariability suffer no loss through trade fluctuations. (Photograph Matthew Faji BAHA)
