NO DATE - G. R Naidoo started out as a photojournalist for DRUM in 1955 and soon thereafter headed the launch of the magazine's East Africa edition in Kenya. In 1965 he was jailed for ninety-seven days for critiquing the government. He was appointed the first black editor-in-chief of DRUM in 1969. (Photograph by Drum Photographer BAHA)
