December 1959 - Banished! - Nearly three years ago Drum exposed conditions in the Frenchdale exile area. Today there are other areas, and other exiles eating out their hearts in solitude. Eighty two African men and women are today living in exile in South Africa. They have been sent away from theier homes sometimes with barely time to grab a toothbrush to fend for themselves in strange, disolate areas for an indefinite period. No trial. No explanation.
