December 1978 - I'm Not The Muti Murderer - Pastor Frederick Modise, seen here with his wife, has 16 very expensive cars which were given to him by his grateful followers. Pastor Frederick Modise is a worried man. Mr. Modise, head of the 10, 000 strong International Pentecostal Church in Meadowlands, Soweto, has been accused of being a witch and the man responsible for the hideous Pretoria muti murders. It is not the first time that Mr. Modise, who claims to be a faith healer with many ex-withchdoctors and sangomas in his congregation, has been accused of being a murderer.
