In mid December in Batho location, Bloemfontein, the African National Congress held what may prove to be its most important session since its foundation nearly forty years ago. Dr G. H. Gool, Vice President, Non- European Unity Movement: I would rather put it that the reactionaries are in absolute control of the African National Congress and only pressure from outside has had an effect on the Youth Leaguers and they have come out with the policy of non-collaboration on paper.
