February 1967 - Swinging Night - Mr Hector Sibisi, Beatrice Msomi, on holiday from Durban, and Dr and Mrs Aaron Mathlare, a medical practitioner in Soweto, walk into the Mofolo Hall. Socialite showgoes took out their evening suits, evening gowns, jewellery and mink coats for the first time in years on Friday night, and made the gala opening of the music-play, Nongqause a glittering and swinging affair.
