February 1971 - Shake-Up In Uganda - Amin, Amin, Amin - This was the cry of the excited crowd which flocked into the streets of Kampala. The volume of acclaim for the overthrow of Obote was surprising to some observers. But there seemed no doubt about the sincerity of the people in Kampala and in Jinja, Uganda's second largest town, where more demostrations were quickly organised.
