February 1981 - Who Was Behind The Plot To Topple Kaunda? - French Journalist Francois Cros leaves the Lusaka High Courts with a police officer. Now a state witness, Cros was arrested for allegedly giving 500 Kwachas to a Zairean national remanded in custody for being suspected as the Lusaka Strangler. The money was intended for hiring a lawyer to defend the suspected strangler.
