Frederick Henry Williams, 1829-1885, Dean of Grahamstown Cathedral of St Michael and St George from 1865. Dean Williams was responsible for the conflict with Bishop Merriman, which even after a civil court ruling, led to a division in the Cathedral congregation only resolved after his death
