July 1965 - Bello The Man Behind The Legend - The deeply religious Sardauna of Sokoto at a Muslim gathering. I would very much like not only the federation of Nigeria, but the whole world, to become Moslem. If it does, many of the complicated problems that face it today will fall away. For example, since Islam does not permit lying and cheating and double- dealing, a country that has Islam as its official religion would infinitely be a better country in which to live.
