June 12 1966 - Lutuli: Scare Over Helicopter - Kennedy talks to Lutuli he told the Chief he had been a great inspiration to his late brother, President John F. Kennedy. In their 70-minute interview they discussed the late President Kennedy, race problems in the United States, the future of Africans in South Africa, Non-violence and the hope that people would never through despair turn away from non-violence. Senator Kennedy said he got the impression that Lutuli was unalterably opposed to Communism and retained the faith that his people would never turn to Communism.
