March 22 1975 - Mr. Tshamaano is very old. small and blind. He has to be helped to move to the sun or shade, depending on the weather, and spends his time dreaming of sounds that are now dead. An artist whose world has come to an end, blind Mr Tshaamano Mothomi, who made and played the mbila-mutondo, a venda xylophone valued at hundreds of rand, before he went blind.
