May 1957 Boozers Beware Of Barberton! There is a Shebeen yard where everybody has gone mad. Number 17, Marshall Street, Ferreirastown, Johannesburg, is just about the craziest address I've met. So many people who have lived there have gone mad. Some of the patrons at the shebeen yard of mad men. quaffing Barberton, the concoction medical science has found to be poisonous.
