May 1963 - Model Mojaki looks on as Molefe fiddles with the hem of a frilly evening dress worn by Rynie. He predicts the return of full-length evening dresses. Martin Molefe started thinking women's clothes at the end of 1954, when the head of the department in which he taught at the Vocational Training Centre asked him to design an apron for little girls - one which could be worn summer and winter, over all clothes, I submitted two sketches, he says, and both were accepted.
