May 1963 - Molefe cuddles his toy pet - a polecat nsmed Israel. He got it as his personal mascot when, as the smallest member, he was chosen as mascot of a touring tennis team. Martin Molefe started thinking women's clothes at the end of 1954, when the head of the department in which he taught at the Vocational Training Centre asked him to design an apron for little girls - one which could be worn summer and winter, over all clothes, I submitted two sketches, he says, and both were accepted.
