November 21 1965 - Shootings and stabblings marked the Moroka Swallows - Orlando Pirates derby game at the Parents Stadium, Kliptown, yesterday. Pirates won 2-1. The referee, Mr. Mthabela, from Durban, carried on undere threats. The shooting started about 20 minutes after the interval when trouble broke out in the Swallows goalmouth. It is not known who fired the shot, but a crowd gathered round the goal-mouth. E. Kubheka linesman was stabbed twice on the shoulder afte the end of the game. (Photograph by Drum Photographer BAHA)
