October 23 1966 - Facing the camera is Mrs. Makashana Segobela, mother of Mr. William Segobela, who was shot in his sleep - the thugs first victim. Six people were shot dead and one had his throat cut when thugs took over the village and went on a midnight murder rampage. It happened in the quiet village of Mogoboya, near Tzaneen.
