September 30 1962 - Two New Brighton Nurses - Sister
September 30 1962 - Two New Brighton Nurses - Sister Nokuyola Namhla Hans and Staff Nurse Miriam Ntombazi Hlalu - will enter the Elizabeth Donkin Hospital in Port Elizabeth on October 1 to take a specialised course in fever nursing. Both are from Empilweni T. B. Hospital in New Brighton. This will be the first time in the Eastern Cape that training in fever nursing has been opened to Non-White nurses.
