Two smart pantsula dancers show off their clothes. Pantsula is a highly energetic dance form that originated in the black townships of South Africa during Apartheid. In the 80s and 90s it began to develop more political overtones and became an expression of resistance during the political struggle. Both the dance style and clothing were influenced by 1930s American jazz. Pantsula is Zulu for -~waddling like a duck
