South Africa, Bloodriver, near Vryheid and Dundee, Kwa-Zulu Natal, 16 Dec 2004: Re-enactment of the Boer horse procession with men holding the old Boer flags at the front. The procession heads for the laager of wagons which forms the monument to the Battle of Blood River. An outnumbered Boer party defeated a Zulu attack and the Boers made a Covenant with God that if they won the battle they will always remember this day.
