Upper Church Street in the 1880s, from No. 148 (now Sharman and Campbell) towards Temple Street.The nearest portion of the nine-windowed building i.e. the portion which includes the first three windows, still exists (1960). The gap between the double storeyed buildings is the present entrance to Oakdene Private Hotel
