Herbert Holt, North of England snooker champion, who, together with Joe Davis, the World Snooker and British Billiards Champion, took part in a 3-day exhibition of billiards and snooker at Electricity House, Pier Road, Erith in April 1946. The event was held to raise funds for Erith Hospital
