Garden Hurst, Bexley

Garden Hurst, Parkhill Road, Bexley. This large house was on the south side of Parkhill Road, a few properties away from the Church of St John the Evangelist. During the 1914-18 War Gardenhurst was used by the British Red Cross Society as a hospital. The house was owned at one period by a Mr Marshall, a noted horticulturist
