The Plaza Cinema, Blackfen
The Plaza Cinema, Westwood Lane, Blackfen. The Plaza was opened on 26 July 1937 by the Blackfen Theatre Company It was an independent cinema and as such was not able to show the latest films but did change its programme twice a week. It later became the Rex and then an Odeon. It was demolished in 1962 and now a supermarket stands on the site
