Christ Church

Slide showing a photograph of Christ Church College, part of the University of Oxford. Originally founded in 1525 by Thomas Wolsey, Lord Chancellor of England and Cardinal Archbishop of York as Cardinal College. In 1532 it was re-founded as King Henry VIII's College by Henry VIII, who then re-founded it again in 1546 as Christ Church. Part of Box 366
