A painting which showcases the illustrious interior of a state room of Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, and a gift to John Churchill, the 1st Duke of Marlborough from Queen Anne in thanks for his victory at the Battle of Blenheim in 1704. The room is filled with ornade gilt furniture and wall decoration which borders the ceiling and openings
