A cartoon of the statue of Emmeline Pankhurst being carried away to a new location in London's Victoria Tower Gardens. The life-sized bronze statue, the work of sculptor Arthur George Walker (1861-1939) was unveiled in March 1930. The Minister of Works, Nigel Birch is shown staggering under the weight of the statue, in a cartoon by Cummings, in 1956
