A photograph of Hyde Park Barracks, in Macquarie Street, Sydney, built between 1811 and 1819. The image purposefully shows the unsightly collection of indiscriminate outbuildings, that disfigure the barracks. The photo was used as as a plea to maintain the historical value of the Hyde Park Barracks
