Knavesborough
A pencil drawing of Knavesborough, a market town in north Yorkshire, with its 24.5 metre high gritstone viaduct. Upon nearing completion in 1848, the viaduct collapsed into the River Nidd, from apparent poor workmanship. A replacement was opened in 1851, costing £9, 803, made from stone quarried at Abbey Crags
