A photograph showing a grand archway of the Menin Gate, a war memorial in Ypres, Belgium, dedicated to the British and Commonwealth soldiers who died in the Ypres Salient of WW1. The structure was designed by architect Reginald Theodore Blomfield, and built by the Imperial War Graves Commission, unveiling took place in 1927
