Phrenologist Prime Minister
Phrenologist Prime Minister. Suffragette visits a Phrenologist to have her bumps read. On the wall of his study are pictures of Charles Peace (1832-1879), the notorious burglar and murderer, and Mr Balfour, Prime Minister from 1902-1905. The Pseudo-Science of Phrenology involved feeling the skull to determine the size of the persons brain areas. In the case of the suffragette, the conclusion was Yes madam, by your bump of perserverance, if you live another 1000 years, you might become Prime Minister
