A series of illustrations portraying Pierrot the sad pantomime clown and a banker, in each scene, Pierrot tries to impress the banker carrying the bags of wealth via means of playing music, artistic talent and basic pleading, ultimately he gives up and puts a gun to his own head, at which point the banker grabs his arm and says, I do not understand you
