An impasto painting of the Pont des Arts, a pedestrian bridge of Paris, which spans the river Seine. The bridge was constructed circa 1804, designed by architects and engineers, Louis-Alexandre de Cessart and Jacques Dillon and was originally conceived to resemble a suspended garden, a passageway of nature. A large docked boat can be seen in the foreground
