Rowley Hall Music Room

An illustration showing one end of the music salon of Rowley Hall, Staffordshire. The panelled walls are in finely figured oak, enriched with limewood carving, the mantelpiece is a copy of the well known example at Hampton Court Palace, with a carved oval wreath of fruit and flowers. The ceiling is a triump of plasterer's art, with various decorative trophies at the corners and floral bands intersected with cartouches
