Suffragette on Bonfire Chislehurst 1908. Preparing the bonfire in Chislehurst, Kent for the celebrations on November 5th 1908. Two men stand on the top of the bonfire, next to the figure of a suffragette. Already in the public conciousness as worthy of burning - like Guy Fawkes, some time before the suffragettes turned to arson themselves. Captioned November the Fifth at Chislehurst
