Women's Co-operative Guild Certificate
A membership certificate issued by the Women's Co-operative Guild to a Mrs. Biggs, March 1933. The illustration by Muirhead Bone (1876-1953) resulted from a commission in 1908 from the Guild's Central Committee for a membership card. The image was known as The Woman with the Basket'. Presented to Mrs. Biggs, from her fellow Guilds women of the Chiswick Branch. March 13th 1933
