Camille Flammarion Observatory situated in Juvisy-sur-Orge, a suburb of Paris, France. This was the observatory of the famous french astronomer Camille Flammarion (1842-1925). The female astronomer pictured in this photograph is Flammarion's second wife, Gabrielle Renaudot Flammarion (1877-1962). In March 2010, the structure was classified as a historical monument by the French Ministry of Culture. The observatory belongs to the Societe astronomique de France
