Acueducto de Segovia, Castile and Leon, Spain
Acueducto de Segovia, a Roman arched bridge used to carry water from the source of the Fuenfria river in La Acebeda to Segovia, built late 1st - early 2nd century AD, during the reigns of Claudius and Trajan, in Segovia, Castile and Leon, Spain. The aqueduct has 167 arches in total and at its highest is 28.5m tall. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
