Bedroom of the Agatha Christie suite, at the Old Cataract Hotel, a colonial era hotel built 1899 by Thomas Cook, overlooking the river Nile in Aswan, Egypt. Agatha Christie stayed at the hotel and it featured in her book Death on the Nile. The hotel housed European travellers visiting Aswan throughout the 20th century.
