Agave Jabali, growing wild in the area around the Las Cuevas Prehistoricas de Yagul y Mitla archaeological site, featuring prehistoric rock shelters used over 12, 000 years ago by settler farmers, at San Pablo Villa de Mitla in the Tlacolula Valley, Oaxaca, Mexico. There are over 115 caves in this area, some of which feature rock art, archaeological remains and evidence of agriculture. The area is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
