Akershus Fortress, Oslo, Norway
Akershus Fortress, or Akershus Festning, a medieval castle built from 1290s as a royal fortress, in Oslo, Norway. The building is now used as the offices of the prime minister and Ministry of Defence. The castle functions as a museum and houses the Norwegian Armed Forces Museum and Resistance Museum.
