Sarcophagi in the Alyscamps Roman necropolis in Arles, Bouches-du-Rhone, Provence, France. The burial site was positioned just outside the city walls and was used in Roman, early christian and medieval times. The necropolis is listed as a historic monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
