Sculpture of Amphitrite or a water nymph, 1863 by Charles-Henri-Joseph Cordier, 1827-1905, at the Bassin des Cascades, in the grounds of the Chateau de Fontainebleau, France. The Palace of Fontainebleau is one of the largest French royal palaces and was begun in the early 16th century for Francois I. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
