Wooden remains of the hull of a wrecked Roman boat known as Jules Verne 4, 1st - 2nd century AD, in the Musee d'Histoire de Marseille, opened 1983, housing history and archaeology exhibits from the city, in Marseille, Provence, France. The boat was a port service vessel, 15m long, used for dredging. It was excavated at the Place Jules Verne. Picture by Manuel Cohen
