Ansgar Church, built 860 AD by bishop Ansgar, reconstructed 2018, at Ribe Viking Centre, a reconstructed Viking village and living history site, at Ribe, Syddanmark, Jutland, Denmark. Ribe is the oldest town in Denmark, founded c. 700 AD, and was a Viking trade centre and had strong christian connections through archbishop Ansgar from 9th century. Picture by Manuel Cohen
