Isaac, detail from the Tree of Jesse, a monumental 8x5m wall painting, 1500, with patrons Edme Escorchot and his wife Deline kneeling beside Jesse with over 40 characters of the descendants of Christ, on the south wall of the choir, in the Eglise Saint-Prix-et-Saint-Cot, built 12th - 15th centuries, in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, Yonne, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The church was originally founded in the 5th century by St Germain who built a chapel over the tomb of St Prix and St Cot, 3rd century AD christian martyrs. It is listed as a historic monument.
